Reflections....

Well, this is my first time making a post to the blog, but it comes at a time when reflection seems paramount. As I sit in the delivery room watching Kim sleep and awaiting the arrival of our second bundle of joy, I can't help but think about the wonderful blessings we have in our life. It reminds me of the tremendous wave of emotion we felt when Emerson was born and the unbelievable joy she has brought to our lives. I can only venture to guess the positive change we will undergo once the "little fella" arrives and Emerson and Kim double team in "Mommy mode". It is hard to hold back the tears as I think about what is soon to be....a family of four!

Kim, thanks for being such an incredible friend, wife, and Mom and a wonderful role model for Emerson. I know you have preconceived notions about what it will be like to raise a Son, but watching you as a Mom, I have no concerns.

To all of our family and friends, thanks so much for all your love, support, and prayers. As I reflect, a tear runs down my cheek and a smile comes across my face....what is soon to be!
