Emerson got her hair trimmed the other day- I wanted to show off a few pictures with her pig tails.
A few funny things:
Emerson has a shoe fetish, she obviously gets that from me! She loves to point out if you are wearing shoes, loves to put on other people's shoes and loves to put her shoes on. She is actually pretty good at putting them on the correct feet most of the time. She is constantly yelling "SHOES!" She is very fond of her purple crocs and white flower sandals.
We have been working with Emerson on her name, she can't say it yet, but she can tell you the letters as you show them to her. Emerson can also say her last name, although it comes out "Wiley," which is pretty cute.
Emerson knows most of her primary colors with a few extras like pink and purple. Yellow is pronounced "Yellie."
Emerson's first phrase a few months ago was "I see Daddy." Now she is telling us everything she sees. Especially boats, she is very into boats. She actually won't let me ready any other book to her other than this one particular book from Grandma and Pops that has two pages of boats. We just read it over and over and she can point to which ever boat you ask her to. We are very proud!!! Especially her daddy since he LOVES boats.
We finally figured out a while back that when Emerson says,"I know," that means yes. So I will ask her if she had a good day at school and she replies, "I know." It cracks us up.
The child does not like to be dirty. She will take her crocs off and if her feet are dirty, she will say,"Ewwwwwwwwwwww." So I have to give her a wipe and she will clean them. That is my child! She does not like to be sticky either.
