Think Pink!

We are having a girl! Chris and I were so glad my mom could come be with us on this special day. We were all in shock when the ultrasound tech made the big announcement. Tuxy is also very excited about having a sister. Below are pictures of us, of the baby and the video when the announcement was made! My Dad is still out numbered- 4 daughters and now 1 granddaughter!

Great Things In 2008!

2008 is going to be a BIG year for a lot of people. I wanted to let everyone know the fantastic news!

January- Memere, Chris grandmother (Claire's Mom) turns 85!
January 20th- Chris and Christine Oman gave birth to baby #2, Cole. Congratulations!
February 19th- I am turning 30! Guess the Vegas trip will have to be put on hold :(
February 20th- Miriam turns 30! This will be our 12th birthday we have celebrated together.
May 1st- Elliott's 30th Birthday!
May 12th- Chris' graduation from Emory with his MBA!
May 17th- Melissa and Thomas' wedding in Pawley's Island, SC.
Kristy and Karen's 30th Birthday.
Sometime in June- Chris and I will move into our new home on Daniel Island.
Ron and Claire Riley celebrate their 35th anniversary.
June 2nd- Karen and Scott Polk are having their first baby, a little girl.
June 7th- Chris and I are having our first baby! Paul and Debbie Deason become grandparents, Jacki, Melissa and Katie Deason all become aunts!
July 17th- Mandy and Brian Riley have baby #2.
August 3rd- Roxanne's 30th Birthday.
I believe our 30th Birthday celebration in Vegas is sometime in late summer/early fall!
November 15th- Elliott and Dr. Keith are getting married in Greenville!

Work And Play

This past Saturday night we attended the final Veil wedding. We had a great time visiting and catching up with friends and family. If you don't already know, Mandy and Brian are expecting their second child this July! In the picture below, I am 18 weeks and Mandy is 12 weeks.

Christmas 2007

We had a fabulous Christmas. We spent a few nights in Aiken, Atlanta, Tampa and also went on a cruise to Cozumel! On our excursion day from the ship, we went to Passion Island- where they film the Corona commercials. A much needed vacation from work and school. Chris starts his last semester at Emory MBA school- the big graduation day is May 12th!

While in Tampa, we visited our good friends, The Oman Family. We had a ball playing and reading with Adelaide, she is a doll. Chris and Christine just gave birth to their second child, Cole. He was born on January 20th at 9:31pm. 6 pounds 9 ounces, 20.5 inches long. Congratulations!

Our Big Announcement

Today was the long awaited day that we told the Deason family we are expecting. As you can see from the movie below, they were in total shock!

Baby C. Riley is due June 7, 2008.
