Last weekend we made the trip to Nashville, TN to have a mini Riley family reunion. The three of us, Mandy, Brian, Madison and Carter, Kate and Troy- and of course Grandma and Pops were there. We finally got to meet cousin Carter- he is a cutie and just so sweet. Cousin Madison was in baby Heaven. At one point she was on the floor in between both babies going back and forth telling each one "I love you" and "Don't cry, Baby Emerson."
Aunt Kate and Uncle Troy had a blast holding the babies. You will see several pictures of Kate looking like a celeb in Hollywood posing at the pool. There are two funny pictures of Emerson that you know she is sleeping when the paci is just resting on her lip!
On the last day, Mandy took some great pictures of Emerson. As soon as I get them I will make another post.
We took hour walks each morning in Grandma and Pop's beautiful neighborhood and even had time to get some shopping in. (I have to teach Emerson early the important things in life).
As you can see from the slideshow, we basically took pictures the entire time. Emerson was an angel on the flights both ways- she slept the entire time (she liked the continuous humming of the engines). Emerson and I stayed in Nashville all of last week and visited with Grandma and Pops. We had a great time! Thanks Grandma and Pops for taking care of us.
