First Week At Home With A Newborn

Chris and I were so lucky to have so many friends and family take care of us during the beginning of this wild roller coaster ride. We had both sets of grandparents, all my sisters, Aunt Jacki's boyfriend, Uncle Ryan all here to help. They basically played pass around the baby the entire time. Chris and I had to fight to get to hold our own child! But we didn't mind sharing her, after all, she is such a precious baby. Thank you so much to Grammy, Grandad, Grandma, Pops, Aunt Jacki, Aunt Melissa and Aunt Aunt Katie who all came and helped us. Many thanks to Aunt Melissa who spent the second night with me in the hospital and gave me such good advice. We are so blessed. Here are some pictures of what we did the first week Emerson was home- bathtime, first stroller ride, side time on her play mat, lots of sleeping for Emerson, reading and a lot of family laughs. Aunt Clara, Aunt Miriam, Uncle Adam and Uncle Tripp came by to vist.
