My last post of Brooks said that he was so close to turning from his back to tummy- well, of course the next day he did it. Now he just continues to roll and roll and roll some more. I will set him down on the blanket and after a minute or less, he is at least 5 feet away from his original position.
Brooks continues to be a happy baby and is sleeping just about 12 hours at night. He loves looking at faces and getting one on one attention. He has the cutest laugh, I will kiss his cheeks and he just keeps his mouth wide open and laughs. If I could only bottle it up...
Some other things Brooks loves to do:
Grab your hair
Touch your face
Make eye contact
Teethers nice and cold (no teeth yet)
Holding one toy with is right hand and switching to his left
Anything he can get his hands on goes into his mouth
Anything he can get his hands on goes into his mouth
Holding little baby blankets
Playing peek a boo
Bouncing on your knee
Loves to hear you sing. We are doing Kindermusik once a week and we are having a blast together.
Brooks is getting better at eating his oatmeal cereal (our doctor said the first food has recently been changed to oatmeal cereal instead of rice cereal). He takes the spoon away from you and will put it in his mouth or sling it across the high chair. Emerson gets a kick out of having Brooks in her high chair. She is pretty good about it for the most part, but will still get mad every once in a while and I will have to feed him in the bouncy seat to keep the peace. It still cracks me up to see this guy in the high chair- he is growing up so fast. Each day gets more fun.
