The week of Halloween, Emerson and I made cupcakes. I placed them all on the cooling rack after they came out of the oven. During Emerson's nap that day, I noticed that I had two fingerprints in a few cupcakes. I thought I was more careful than that and didn't think much else about it. Later that afternoon, I was cleaning up the kitchen table and Emerson got pretty quiet while playing. I looked on the other side of the island and there she was... with 2 cupcakes on the kitchen floor, shoveling them in her mouth! She had a better reach than I thought! By this point, she had already eaten 1.5 of the 2. It was all over her and the floor- thank goodness they did not have icing on them yet. I laughed so hard and got a few cute pictures. Emerson has a sweet tooth like her Mommy and Grandad.
