We had a great time in St. Lucia. Our friends, Korie and Wes Ellison, shared the condo with us. It was a surprise to me when they sat behind us on the plane from Atlanta to St. Lucia. I turned around and didn't believe what I saw. They set me up! Korie and Wes are so much fun to travel with, they met Chris in Japan last summer when Chris went for his Emory trip.
We had the most relaxing time. We sat by the pool, got massages, manis and pedis and ate wonderful dinners each night. On our last full day, we chartered a catamaran and took in the sites. One of my favorite things on the trip- sleeping in!
We missed our little Emerson! Thank you to Grammy and Grandad who came to Charleston to play with Emerson while we were gone. She had a great time with you both. Thank you, Chris, for a wonderful surprise trip. It was a perfect first Mother's Day. I am very grateful for my family.
