Emerson's Great Aunt Linda came to visit us this past weekend (Grammy's sister). She was making her yearly drive from Ohio to Fort Myers for the winter. She stayed with us for two nights and we all had a blast. On Thursday night Aunt Linda and I went out to dinner at Langdon's in Mt. Pleasant. It was so much fun drinking champagne and catching up (but gossiping was more like it). She just returned from a trip to Switzerland. She and Uncle Jack are world travelers, so it is neat to hear about all of their adventures.
On Friday, Aunt Linda came to Kindermusik with us. Right before class started, Aunt Linda kissed Emerson on the cheek and saw that she got some lipstick on her- which she announced to the class and then followed up by saying,"It's ok everyone, its DIOR." I about fell over laughing. I think she had fun watching us sing and dance. After a little catnap for Emerson, Aunt Katie came to visit for the weekend and the three of us went to the cutest little dessert place in Mt. Pleasant, called "cupcake." http://www.freshcupcakes.com/. We went to celebrate Aunt Linda's birthday. Emerson even dressed for the occasion.
